Montblanc Serves As The Official Timing Partner For The 2019 Goodwood Festival Of Speed. Launches Timewalker Chronograph Limited Edition

From July 4 to 7, 2019, the Goodwood Festival of Speed kicked off in West Sussex, England. Goodwood Festival of Speed is currently one of the most prestigious automotive culture festivals in the world, and it is also a major social festival on the British calendar. The theme of the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2019 is ‘King of Speed-Breaker of Racing Records’. Montblanc is the official timing partner for the third consecutive year and will provide professional timing for many races during the four-day event. Inspired by Minerva’s 161-year heritage and racing spirit, the brand has launched a new Timewalker series chronograph, limited to 1,500 pieces.

The Timewalker series combines historical legendary timing instruments and the spirit of racing, and combines the tradition, technology, perseverance and winning performance of Minerva with the style of brilliant racing. The limited edition of the new Timewalker chronograph is made of ‘distressed’ steel. This special finish is first coated with a black coating on the stainless steel case, then washed and wiped by hand, giving each watch a unique shine and look. The black and grey ‘reversed panda dial’, the black ceramic bezel, the black rhodium-plated hands, and the brand’s new black Nubuck calfskin strap perfectly fit the retro look of the dial.

This watch is equipped with Montblanc’s self-made MB25.10 chronograph movement, which uses traditional finishes such as Geneva and round grain, and is equipped with blue steel screws and a black rhodium-plated tungsten that is designed in the shape of a steering wheel. New integrated rotor. The MB25.10 movement is equipped with a traditional column wheel, a horizontal clutch and a stop-second mechanism to ensure accurate time setting.

The watch displays hour, minute, small seconds (6 o’clock position) and date (between 4 and 5 o’clock), while the central second hand, 30-minute cumulative dial (3 o’clock position) and 12-hour cumulative dial (9 O’clock position) constitutes the timing function, reminiscent of the classic 3-6-9 chronograph layout.
